The new Web math

Yesterday we had craigslist + Google Maps. Today we have del.icio.us + GMail. It's the new Web math!

Of course this is just a remix of the ETech '05 theme, "ReMix." But what I find great and encouraging about these sites is that they haven't been shut down. I'd so much rather see companies encourage and benefit from people treating their sites as components, than see yet another kind of cease-and-desist standoff. Kudos to Google, in these cases, for letting the remixers add and subtract.
