Nivi posts a thought-provoking list of signals that the telephony market is headed for mondo disruption. He cites the Apple ROKR as nothing more than “a beta test for Apple to see if they can actually work with the handset manufacturers and mobile carriers”, Series 60 designer Christian Lindholm leaving Nokia for Yahoo!, and Google’s acquisition of mobile player Android and their investment in Current, a power-line broadband company.
