iTunes Pricing Stays at 99c

The subheading of this CNN article says it all: "Four largest record companies defeated in behind-the-scenes battle to charge different prices for songs; downloads still 99 cents". This comes the same day as France backed down on the posturing over demanding iPod interoperability. The Steve will be permitting himself a jubilant sip of bottled water over these victories, and if good news always comes in threes then he can expect a call from Bill in Redmond asking about OS X licensing terms ....

No, I think (hope, pray, etc) #3 of the "good news in threes" is gonna be Apple taming the Beatles in court.
