Chinese Web 2.0 Logos
by Brady Forrest| @brady | comments: 1
Jason Li, who blogs on the excellent Virtual China blog sent me a link (warning: the page tried to make me download a dll) to this collection of Chinese Web 2.0 company logos. Sprinkled in there are quite a few English-language sites/logos such as Digg, Delicious, Skype, Google, and Flickr (beta not gamma). I found that the collection made for interesting viewing and wanted to share it.
There are many Chinese firms that copy existing web sites. Isaac Mao, Chinese blogger and VC, told me that the process is so common that it's locally known as "copy-to-china". This sometimes happens at the Chinese site's peril as is recounted in this story about a Chinese version of Digg. I haven't been able to figure out from the logos if any of these sites fall into this category.
