FOSS4G 2006

I am currently at FOSS4G (Free and Open Software For Geoinformatics) Conference (of which O’Reilly is a sponsor) in Lausanne, Switzerland. The four day conference is packed with talks and workshops on OS projects and implementations. This is where a lot of the OS geospatial projects and standards get a lot of roadmap work done (such as Mapbuilder and GeoRSS). I’m seeing a lot of interesting projects that will be featured at Where 2.0 in 2007.
