Flood Maps

I found Flood Maps via this Kiwi blog. It's a clever way to see what the world would look like if (when?) the sea levels rise. For example, Google and Yahoo! employees should bring water wings to work. Apple's still dry, though. It's fun to plug in your house and see whether you'll have seaside property, though if the sea level rises the 50 or so meters it'll take to make our land beachfront, property values will be the least of our worries.

Well, I'm safe in Boulder from a 14-m rise. My sister in Brooklyn isn't so lucky.
