del.icio.us Everywhere
I love Google and I love del.icio.us and it's great to see that the people at Google love del.icio.us too. Check out the toolbar at the top of the Firefox browsersync home page. I've reproduced it below. Note the last word on the File / Edit / ... menubar. This isn't just funny, it's very cool. Just like folks within Microsoft will tell you that everyone has an iPod, it's great that good technology like del.icio.us is bubbling up within organizations even though the notional parent of the technology is in theory a "rival" of the organization. It's laudable, as well as amusing.

Is it just me or isnt that del.cio.us menu item just part of the del.cio.us firefox plugin? What does it have to do with google and its browser sync?
You are correct. That menu choice is part of the del.icio.us Firefox plugin. The Google has nothing to do with it (which kind of takes the wind out of the original posting)
Read the post again (took me a couple of times too). All it's saying is that it's cool that there are people in Google who like del.icio.us enough that they'll post a screenshot with the del.icio.us extension (a product of their rival, Yahoo!) visible in it.
Nice catch! Definitely is great to see. As Kevin, it took me a couple times looking over it to understand :-).
...along the same line. I thought it was funny that Google is the default search engine in IE7 (beta)!
My wife thinks the drastic changes to the IE7 toolbar will have (non-techie) users running to Firefox.
It's also cool that as soon as Google Calendar came out Yahoo's Upcoming.org added links so you can add events into Gcal.
I love this kind of co-ompetetion
A feature Microsoft Windows badly needs. I recently had to migrate my Windows and Office settings from one PC to another. What a nightmare.
I want a Windowsync please.
