iPhone-style Launcher for the Treo

treo-iphoneforumzi0.jpg
If you own a Treo and want an iPhone you now have the option to try the opening launch screen with iPhone 0.2 (aka iPhony). It's just a launcher and doesn't change the underlying apps, but it provides the chance to experiment with the new phone. So there is now a software model to go along with the physical models (Radar post) that have also been created. I wish this same iPhone-style launcher was available for my Windows Mobile phone; it would beat the pants off the current opening screen.

Why does everyone think it is acceptable to steal and use Apple's icons without permission? Would you be happy if someone started using yours? No. Thought not.

I don't see this as theft. I see this as an homage that will only be used by people who are already drooling over an iPhone. I do not think that anyone will confuse a Treo for an iPhone due to this simple launcher and that Apple's potential market share will stay intact despite its existence.
