New Open Source Projects at OSBC

At OSBC next month, Matt Asay has asked me to run a session titled "The Best Open Source Apps You've Never Heard Of". I have space for one more project left, so if you have a little-known, business-relevant open source application you'd like me to consider, drop a note to allison at oreilly dot com.

The lesser-known best applications can be very widespread, but they typically sit in the belly of the system, without any visual front. GNU utilities, which make up 15% of Debian GNU/Linux, are excellent example of that. My point is this: remember that obscurity does not align with ubiquity.

Hi Allison: We have the perfect project for Matt's track. We've talked to both Matt and Tim and they both agree our OS data integration project is quite disruptive. Give me a call.

Thanks,
Molly
