Supermarket 2.0 Video
This Supermarket 2.0 parody video is really cute. It creatively applies Web 2.0 terms and concepts to the food shopping experience. The Pandora-style shopping experience mid-way through is especially excellent.
It was created as guerilla marketing for Israeli startups UrbanSeeder and Wishood. Through a mix of web and real-world cards UrbanSeeder allows you to get to know someone anonymously and at a pace of your choosing (learn more). Wishood is a wishlist sharing site where members can comment on each other's desires. Smart way to get noticed. <via BoingBoing>

The "2.0" appendage seems to convey a lot, but often leaves a void. Let's just avoid (if not be against) all that 'techisation' that comes from pre/appending terms like "Open Source" and 2.0 to everything, even music and cars. It /dilutes/ the terms. Zeldman had a nice writeup on Web 3.0 -- a satire, that was.

As a librarian, I think that this is a fantastic parody of Web 2.0, and how people are trying to apply “2.0″ principles (and jargon) to just about everything these days (i.e., Library 2.0).
