Where 2.0: Release of GeoPressMT Plugin

The importance of attaching a machine readable location to you data is increasing and is getting easier. With the release of Google's maplets (post-pending) is became more important and with the release of GeoPressMT. From the author Andrew Turner:

GeoPress, a blogging plugin that allows users to easily embed maps, GeoRSS, KML, and Microformats in their blog has been been wildly popular. It has allowed people to blog about their travels, hang-gliding, scuba diving, favorite bars, news stories, and syndicate this information out with geographic data.

Today, We're happy to announce GeoPress/MT, which allows MovableType
blogs to know have the same geographic support. Users can attach
location, syndicate and view in GoogleEarth, Maps, and Mashups.

GeoPress uses the Mapstraction Mapping Library that allows blogs to
use and switch between Google, Yahoo, Microsoft, and more providers.

GeoPress/MT is available now - visit http://georss.org/geopress to
find out more and download it.

I am proud to announce that this project was funded by O'Reilly. The geocommunity has been good to us and we wanted to find a way to give back. We will be running this on Radar as of today and on other O'Reilly blogs in the near-future.

Updated: We are having problems with our release. We'll update you when it is fully working.
