I wish I could be in two places at once

We've got Foo Camp starting in Sebastopol tomorrow, or else I'd be at The Virtual Goods Summit. It looks fascinating, with a great cast of presenters and an absolutely right-on premise: that virtual economies are for real, growing significantly, and will have a huge impact on our future world. Far more of what we pay for today is already more virtual than we realize.

Well if the Virtual Goods Summit was on Second Life you could be in two places at once. Which begs the question - why isn't it?

I'm guessing everyone needs a "real" goody bag sometimes.

Before anyone shouts "cheap shot" at me, I know :-)

There are vast numbers of potential new virtual business models from the more obvious to community based virtual VC's and other activities - so I'm sure it'll be interesting.

I agree with the Second Life bit.

OT: When I read your headline in my RSS reader I was expecting some sort of a wacko scientist researching being two places at once.
