Release 2.0 Presents ... Release 1.0
We're endeavoring to make Release 2.0 a must-read for businesspeople who want insight into the future of technology. One of the reasons we want to make it the best we can is that we want to be worthy of its rich history. For 23 years, as Release 1.0, under the inspired editorship of Esther Dyson, this newsletter told you what you needed to know about what was coming around the corner. O'Reilly Media's deal to take on the newsletter included its rich archives, which we are now delighted to make available, as PDFs, free of charge.
P.S. Read about the most recent issue of Release 2.0.

Thank you. I've yet to purchase a subscription to 2.0 as it'll be coming out of my own pocket, but I will buy a subscription in the near future. For now, I greatly appreciate the knowledge you are making available in 1.0 and the blog. It helps me think differently about the technology industry and the more traditional industry I work in.
Both ways will be 2G, I would rather just click once and get the archive then click several times for the same data. Size is not the issue, time is the issue. I don't think your servers are going anywhere, but I like to mirror and archive all the items I find; must be the "old skool" in me. :)
I still think you should have avoided the name/number collision with Esther's book, and jumped to 'Release 3.0'.
