How cities learn

I loved Michal Migurski's long shot of San Francisco's urban history (via waxy), drawn from rotated and cropped Google Maps satellite photos. Reminded me of the opening shot in No Way Out, and Stewart Brand's incredibly fantastic book, How Buildings Learn: What Happens After They're Built. (Yes, I just put Kevin Costner and Stewart Brand in the same sentence -- sorry, Stewart.) The rest of Michal's blog is great, too.
