Ubuntu 7.04 Released
Ubuntu's 7.04 release, code-named "Feisty Fawn" went out today. Downloads are slow from the main site, but the Ubuntu mirrors are rapidly updating. The release is joined by an announcement from Sun and Canonical that Feisty includes Sun's Java core (JDK 6), Glassfish, and NetBeans. The packages for the install will remain in "mulitverse" (a set of non-free packages, not enabled by default) until Sun completes the GPL release of the JDK, planned for later this year.
Congratulations to the whole Ubuntu team!
