Every time I see something like this, I see another brick crumbling in the Internet Explorer foundation. How is any browser going to compete with the functionality of thousands of Firefox plugins? It doesn’t matter how many programmers you hire — you could never catch up. I’ve previously suggested that IE7 make Firefox plugins plug-compatible, and I was called an idiot for suggesting it, but I think that’s the only strategy left. Embrace and extend, IE team.
