EuroOSCON: m0n0wall

Part of the fun of running a conference is stacking the program with things that you want the rest of the world to know about. I just added a session on m0n0wall to EuroOSCON. If you haven’t seen m0n0wall yet, you should check it out. It’s a sweet little embedded firewall on FreeBSD with some intriguing features, like XML config files and boot-time configuration done via PHP. It’s an interesting use of PHP as well as a very powerful firewall (I know of one company that’s busy replacing all its CheckPoint firewalls with m0n0wall boxes). It’s a fine addition to the Security track, which features heavyhitters like John Viega, Bruce Potter, and Ben Laurie.
