Lecture: Hydrogen Research at SLAC

As noted recently, energy is on the alpha geek radar. Accordingly, readers may be interested in a lecture on hydrogen energy research at Stanford tonight. From a mailing list I’m on:

In [tonight]’s public lecture, “Hydrogen: Fueling the Future,” Stanford Synchrotron Radiation Laboratory’s Jennifer Leisch will discuss how we can offset the projected increase in fossil energy with renewable energy production. She will focus specifically on hydrogen as an option for energy storage and transport, and will highlight recent research at SLAC in hydrogen
production, fuel cell catalysis and hydrogen storage.

The lecture takes place at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, February 27, in the Panofsky Auditorium. All are welcome to attend.
