Google Earth Virtual Biking Reality

Former O'Reilly tools guru Mike Sierra is riding the Pan Mass Challenge, a two-day bicycling event to raise money for cancer research and treatment. He's made a blog Cartography Against Cancer and the latest entry points to a KML file that lets you get a ground-level view of the ride. Gorgeous stuff! And a fascinating glimpse at another way this ubiquitous consumer digital cartography is seeping into everyone's lives.
