Any Mobile Carriers Out There?
I'm having a hard time making contacts at the carriers, and the ever-lovely Russell Beattie suggested asking on the blog. Genius! Any readers from T-Mobile, Cingular, Verizon, Nextel, etc.? I'd love to make contact with you, if you are: <gnat AT oreilly.com>. Thanks!

hello nat, how are you mate? i was going to offer to hook you up with Orange, but it looks like Steve Sherman is way ahead of me. Props to the Orange team - it looks like Steve Glagow, who runs Orange developer relations, has some proactive people on his team. Thanks for the tip Steve- next time I am in Boston i will take a trip over to Cambridge to call my wife. in fact with the savings, i can probably afford to stay in the Charles Hotel, which i really like... ;-)

What about the second largest European carrier Orange. Can't help on a free phone :) but if you are looking at accessing our network APIs or launching a new data service I can help..
Orange’s Advanced Data Services office is located in Cambridge Ma.. We even have both 2G and 3G towers here. So that any from the UK can walk by outside our office and make local cell calls to London with no roaming..
